We accept the following payment methods, Credit Card processed by PayPal through the internet. Payment in cash upon arrival. No other payment methods are available.

 

When booking our services for an event that is more than three weeks ahead we will ask for a deposit of approximately 25% by PayPal to hold the equipment and the day free for you.

 

Any balance must be paid either in full during the three weeks preceding the event if paying by credit card, or at the time of our arrival at the event in cash.  Unless other arrangements have been made, if you fail to make payment upon our arrival we reserve our right to cancel our services without warning or refund.

 

If the booking is made with less than three weeks ahead then we ask for either the 25% deposit and the balance in cash upon arrival, or the full hire charge if paying by credit card.

 

Any deposit paid is refundable upto three weeks before the event date.

Payments.

Universal Terms & Conditions for Supply of Services.

 

In booking our services, the hirer agrees unconditionally to these terms and conditions.

 

Pricing. All prices shown here on this website are a guide and include a small amount of delivery charges, however longer distances are charged at approximately 50p per mile, and the London Congestion charge is added at a rate of £10 per day, please ask us to quote a total price.

 

Substitutions. Complete Stage Services reserve the right to make changes or substitutions of the equipment advertised, with products from other equipment manufactures or alternative products of similar technical specification.

 

Non Arrival. In the event that we are unable to arrive at the venue we will supply a refund of all monies paid. No liability will be accepted for any loss of revenue etc.

 

Title of Goods. All equipment remains the property of Complete Stage Services and must be surrendered on request without any reason given.

 

Access. The Hirer agrees to grant Complete Stage Services full access to the hired equipment for examination, service, and repair or to repossess the hired equipment. The hirer also grants Complete Stage Services full access of their property to recover any missing equipment.

 

Lamps. Our equipment hire price includes a working bulb, however bulbs do fail. Additional spare bulbs are supplied free of charge.

 

Repairs. No repairs whatsoever are to be carried out by the hirer on any equipment supplied Complete Stage Services. This includes the changing of plugs, sockets or fuses.

 

Parts Missing. If any equipment is returned with parts missing then the full replacement price plus a fitting charge will be made.

 

Venue. If hiring equipment that is to be used in a named venue then that is the only place that the equipment that the equipment can be used. This venue must be notified to Complete Stage Services before hiring.

 

Damage. The hirer assumes total responsibility for the full replacement cost of all equipment hired should it be damaged or stolen.

 

P.A.T. test Certificates and the Electricity at Work Act 1989. To meet the requirements of the 1989 ‘Electricity at work’ regulations it is widely regarded to be necessary to implement a programmed of planned inspection and testing of 'portable' appliances, as may be necessary to prevent danger. All equipment is maintained so as to prevent so far as is reasonably practicable such danger. However these regulations state that it is the Employer’s responsibility. We are a small family company, and do not employ staff, therefore we test our equipment ourselves.

 

Electrical Safety. We do not dry hire equipment, nor do we allow others to use our equipment whilst it is on the hirer’s premises.  If you would like to use / operate our equipment then it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the hired equipment meets the safety standards required.

 

Cables. Returned cables must be wound up neatly ready for re-use. Failure to do this will result in a cable rewinding charge of £1 per cable.

 

Public Liability Insurance If you require seeing the Public Liability Insurance certificate before booking then an administration charge of £10 must be paid first, this charge is in addition to our normal fees.

 

Liability. Complete Stage Services cannot accept responsibility for damage to building, property or personal injury however caused unless the above £10 administration fee is paid in advance.

If you can find the same service offered somewhere else, we will undercut any written quotation by up to 25% off their price.
